“Please join us for a celebration of student success, in your honor,” says Dr. Richard Beall, head of Maharishi School, expressing his appreciation to the school’s community of supporters. His invitation is seconded by Annalisa Miller, the school’s Development Director. “Look at what we’ve done because of what you’ve given us.”
Maharishi School is showcasing its achievements for the entire community this Sunday afternoon, April 26, from 2-4, to celebrate the school’s achievements and to honor all the support provided by the community. Everyone is invited to come and enjoy.
A cornucopia of activities and exhibitions will be available for guests to see and even participate in. Guests can structure their self-tours to highlight as many of the events as they wish. Possibilities include a robotics demonstration, the State Science Fair champions’ exhibitions (junior and senior divisions), a gallery of award-winning and multi-cultural student art, pottery displays and ceramics demonstrations, an Iron Chef competition, Nature Explore classroom and greenhouse tours, and live music.
The school’s inner courtyard will add its own color with flowering tulips, daffodils, and fruit trees. This is where there will be on-going music provided by the school’s music students. The school’s sustainability program will bake bread in the courtyard’s wood-burning cobb oven, and the golf team plans to give hands-on putting lessons for interested duffers.
Exhibitions of art, knowledge, and technology, flavored with food and a little golf, will make for an enjoyable Sunday afternoon experience.
