Maharishi School Boys Tennis Defeats Fairfield High

The Maharishi School boys tennis squad defeated Fairfield High School by a score of 9-0 at the Middle School courts April 17th.  “The score was not indicative of the competitiveness of some of the matches." Trojan #3 player, Elijah Parr, won the first set against Caleb Mulleneux. "Coach Sheppard mentioned that Elijah excelled in track. Sure enough, he ran down a lot balls, but Caleb served really well in the deciding tie-breaker,” said Coach Briggs. "I was proud of the entire team, especially the newcomers. Sophomores Devan Burke and Karthik Venpati are first year varsity players, but they showed a lot of poise and committed to their shots in tight situations. Chandre, Kai, and Daniel were solid as usual.”

Caleb Mulleneux was the Pioneer Player of the Match for his combined singles and doubles play.
