Maharishi School hosted Scattergood for a rematch soccer game and dinner last night, and the game was close. We were missing two of our best offensive players, so it forced our team to pull together and rise to the challenge. We went down 2-0, came back with a goal and pressed for another one, but didn't quite make that happen, so lost 2-1.
Afterwards the teams enjoyed dinner at Annapurna in the faculty dining hall. The worthy challengers shared time, space, food, camaraderie and in the end friendship as they got to know each other. The last game will be on Tuesday at 5:00 with a group of Fairfield adults lead by Emmanuel Titus.
