Paul DeAngelis, Maharishi School senior, was recognized as the Fairfield Rotary Club’s Students of the month for January. The awards ceremony was held January 20 at the Argiro Center on Maharishi University of Management campus.

Rotary Club recognizes those who bring a substantial, positive difference in his or her life or community. Students are recognized for multiple areas of achievement, including:
Each award recipient gives a 4 to 5 minute speech to the Rotarians about themselves, their education and their future plans.
“In general, we get very interesting, inspiring presentations from the [honorees], but it also is an opportunity for them to sit down and think about their education and their future,” said Francis Mossé, chairman of the Fairfield Rotary Mentors and Student Service Committee.
The next student of the month award ceremony is set for noon Feb. 17 at the Fairfield Golf & Country Club.
