Students Get Creative At DestiNation Imagination Global Competition

Fifty-four Maharishi School Students showcased their creativity at the Destination ImagiNation Iowa and Global Competitions. At the Iowa competition, ten Maharishi School teams participated, earning 2 third place finishes, 2 second place finishes, the Renaissance Award for design creativity and engineering, and 6 first place teams who progressed to the Global Competition, in Knoxville, TN. Students Win Southeast Iowa Superconference Art Competition

Seven Maharishi Upper School students won awards at the Southeast Iowa Superconference Art Competition and Workshop held March 27 at Iowa Wesleyan College in Mt. Pleasant. Twenty area schools participated in eight different workshops instructed by area art teachers. Eleven area schools competed and over 150 student works were submitted. Three Maharishi School student photographs will be featured in the Photo Imaging Educational Association (PIEA) exhibit at the Fairfield Arts & Convention Center March 1-12.
