Our full-time academic counselor will monitor the academic progress of your student. The academic Counselor meets with our Boys and Girls School Directors and our faculty members in order to design academic support where needed.
We also have access to an educational psychologist who uses a wide range of diagnostic procedures to assess and develop interventions and accommodations. This is a part of our comprehensive program called Nourishing Creative Intelligence. With this program we develop a thorough view of a child’s strengths and challenges and then design and implement strategies to draw out the child’s own creativity and intelligence in order to solve the challenges.
College planning begins in the junior year with meetings for you and your student that introduce you to the college application process. The program is designed to help your student understand his/her particular interests and goals, and find a school that is a good fit for his/her aspirations.
