Maharishi School falls to Aquinas 66-53
Maharishi School showed some moments of terrific basketball but were not able to play a consistent 32 minutes and fell to their old nemesis 66-53. Woody Orne was the Pioneers top point scorer with 14 points, most of it in the 4th quarter. Not being 100% because of the flu it took a while for Woody and the Pioneers to establish their inside presence. However by the 4th quarter the quickness of Aquinas had forced a few turn-overs too many and the pioneers were unable to catch up.
Both Armstrong and Loin made solid contributions with 13 and 11 points respectively. The Pioneers are now 2-1 on the season and the next game is their first conference match of the season at Central Lee Friday night.
