Student Accepted at Gelsey Kirkland Academy

Jaya Meuhlman, 11th grade daughter of Mac and Ellen Meuhlman,  has been accepted at the Gelsey Kirkland Academy in New York City for a 5-week summer intensive dance program. Pioneers Win Substate - Advance to State Final 4

Maharishi School defeated both Grinnell and Pella today to advance to the State finals in Des Moines. Fairfield Takes Care of Fort Madison in Soccer

The combined Fairfield and Maharishi School boys's soccer team was victorious Thursday against Fort Madison. The boys hosted the Bloodhounds and won 6-5. Maharishi School Girls’ Tennis Opens Up Playoffs

The Maharishi School of the Age of Enlightenment girls’ tennis team won its first playoff match Saturday against Centerville 5-4. The Pioneers were eliminated later in the day by Pella Christian 5-2. The team will still play individual regional and also doubles matches at the University of Iowa in Iowa City on Thursday.

Pioneers Capture District Title in Boys’ Tennis

The Maharishi School of the Age of Enlightenment tennis boys’ team captured another district title Thursday in Fairfield. Lower School Girls Run 5K with Girls On the Run

On Saturday 10 girls from Maharishi Lower School ran 5 kilometers with over 400 others with the Girls on the Run program in Cedar Rapids. The girls met twice weekly for 10 weeks to train with Rebecca Bellonci, Juliet Jarmosco, Liza Saturley and other volunteers.
