Morning classes are from 9:30 am until 11:50 am when the students have the option of eating lunch at home with their families, eating with their families in our all-vegetarian, organic lunchroom (to be paid for by the family) or joining the supervised lunch program.
Afternoon classes are from 1:05 pm until 3:30 pm. The students enjoy their daily subjects - SCI, language arts, math, science, social studies, information literacy and Sanskrit - along with their once a week subjects: Art, Library/Computers and Music. The students also enjoy P.E. twice a week and gardening in our school Greenhouse when it is seasonal. Click to read more about our Lower School Curriculum.
All Middle and Upper School students begin their day with group program at 8:33 am for those who practice the Maharishi Transcendental Meditation® program and 8:28 am for Rising Sidhas, those who are in the process of learning the Maharishi TM-Sidhi® Program.
The students then have a break to eat some breakfast and prepare for their classes. Middle and Upper schools students enjoy having just four classes at day/quarter.
All Middle and Upper School students end their day with group program at 3:07 pm for those who practice the Maharishi Transcendental Meditation® program and for Rising Sidhas, those who are in the process of learning the Maharishi TM-Sidhi® Program.
Upper School students enjoy the option of choosing an elective for one period a day for two quarters of the year.
